    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The reasons why I would recommend this course is because it really does give you a sense of what college is going to be like. For example the lecture that he does re similar to the ones in college with a lot of note taking.

    Course highlights:

What I learn in this course is that you really have to put a lot of effort if you want to succeed and also ho to take good taking note skills. Not only that but most importantly how to manage your time because then if you wait till last minute its going to be bad.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that i give to future students is that I really hope you consider this course because yeah it is difficult but if you out in effort and you do the work then you should be fine. Like i mentioned before it is a great class due to it gives you a sense of what college is going to be about.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend IB History of the Americas to any student that is willing to take on a challenging course that will help improve writing, thinking and note taking skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is that it is a two year course in which students learn a large load of information ranging from the Great Depression to the Rise of Hitler and the Cuban Missile Crisis.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Students considering this course need to do their homework everyday and ask questions.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students looking to challenge themselves with an IB class and who wish to extensively develop their critical-thinking and writing skills.

    Course highlights:

The essay prompts, while not always easy to answer, allow for the student to interpret and analyze the material in their own way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and always do your homework! The key to success in any IB class is maintaining organization and consistency in all of your work. In addition, this class is heavily essay-based, so being able to be critical of each lesson is a skill all students should develop. Don't be disheartened if you aren't the person with the highest grade in the class because it is extremely difficult, but the rigor and complexity of the course will allow you to intellectually develop in your own way.
