    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it allows you to not have to take the english placement test when you get into college.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this class was reading the book Into The Wild.

    Hours per week:

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is one of the English 12 options called Media/Social Justice. I would highly recommend this course because we discuss pertinent issues and topics, from justice in Antigone, all the way to poverty and racism in modern day rap. It is very interesting and we discuss articles and movies, rather than long novels.

    Course highlights:

This class is based on presentations and discussions. We are presented with themes and are given sources to correspond. We finish off each unit with either a paper, project, or discussion. This class has helped me come out of my shell and become more well versed in current topics. It is great to see the modern day applications.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make good annotations on the sides of the articles we read. It is very helpful in discussions. I highly recommend this course! Take it! Ms. Uscian is great too!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would if one was looking for a more worldly perspective and needed somewhere to start.

    Course highlights:

Learning of Communist China and the dangers and the degree of which censorship affects us all.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Let the class give you the tools. It'll become easier over time and you'll always be prepared.
