    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is the perfect course to prepare you for college. The course is structured to help students develop important study habits. You are truly thrown out there to fend for yourself. You only receive a calendar of reading notes and deadline, and the for the rest you are on your own. I was so grateful to have this experience to teach me that I can very successful as long as I put my mind to it and work hard.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning about the American Revolution. It was very eye opening to learn about the sacrifices everyone had to make in order to get our country to the place it is today. It was also very fascinating to learn about the early 90s because this was the time my grandparents were growing up. After leaning about the time period, hearing my grandma's stories about her childhood were so much moe meaningful.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Students coming into the course should definitely be ready to put a good amount of effort into this class. There is a to of memorization when it comes to important events so flashcards will be your best friend. Also, doing the reading is SO important. I cannot stress that enough. Read everything. It will definitely show on your tests if you do the reading homework or not.
