    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Csider is an amazing and passionate teacher that really cares about the students and highly prepares the students for the challenging AP test in May. The class is engaging, has multiple labs, and will challenge even the greatest chemistry lover (like myself). In addition you get to look forward to liquid nitrogen ice cream and a pancake day before Thanksgiving.

    Course highlights:

The Chemistry Magic Show at the end of the school year is a blast, and labs can be pretty fun too. You take everything from the Gas Laws (PV=nRT) to thermochemistry from regular or honors chemistry and expand on the concepts. You also learn new chemistry concepts like equilibrium and intermediate steps for thermochem.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Find someone in your class that's good at chemistry, and get their phone number. Mr. Csider is great, but he can't help you cramming the night before the test. On that note, don't find yourself cramming the night before the test. Mr. Csider has very thorough lectures, and if you take good notes you barely even need to read the textbook (although that is also recommended)
