Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it taught me a lot of valuable skills that I would need later in high school. Also, it was an environment that helped me learn how to focus and taught me history from a different point by applying it to modern day rather than just learning about the past.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of the course were the classroom discussions we had. They were helpful in helping me understand the course better. Also, the news we would watch on a current events were not only entertaining but also informative which helped me understand the class on a better perspective.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you need to be focused during class and take notes too because it is helpful so you can later review what you learned since sometimes the topics can move fairly fast. Also, go to tutoring if you need it so you do not fall behind.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Human Geography really opened my perspective view on how the world is formed and the reasons why there is so much problems with natural resources, ethnic conflicts, and the simple idea of maintaining one's cultural background. For example, one gets to understand the complexity of how a country's language is born and why our cultures are the way they are. Its so complicated but very interesting to learn.

    Course highlights:

Some of the most important highlights that I learned when taking this course was the idea of popular and folk culture. I live in a city called Santa Ana in Southern California. A city where its center is a hotbed for hispanics. But lately, it has been changed due to the popular culture erupting. Meaning gentrification. I knew that Santa ANa was changing, but what I didn't understand was for what reason and how. AP Human gave us the literal meaning of these happenings and how they continue all around the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class requires a lot of background information and to know the cultures you are a part of and as well your family is in. Do not slack off in research because literally, the beauty is the outside world, and when you get to understand HOW it works, it will blow your mind. And of course, the key to passing an AP class is no procrastination.
