    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because the rigor will prepare you for any other AP course you plan to take (ie. AP GOV, AP LIT).

    Course highlights:

I learned time management since I was taking other AP courses as well. Also, I improved my writing skills, like how to write Short Answer questions, DBQs, LEQs.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE READING!!! Trust me. I only read in the beginning and I definitely regret it. Pay attention to Mr. Montero. He really and truly wants you to pass the test. If you do everything he does, you are on the path to success. Study for the exams and the AP exam; review your notes, read the crash course book, read the AMSCO book, take practice exams. Thanks Mr. Montero!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend oneself to be enrolled in that course because I believe every American should know its history.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning about how many presidents were racist.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for all the quizzes and test! Do not procrastinate!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It gives background that will be useful for government because court cases often show up. We were not to forget the most important cases because they are still referenced in the final and AP exam.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about my country's history. I wasn't aware there was so much to our history and how decisions made in the past still effect us today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I definitely recommend taking the summer course seriously because it is the first grade you will receive. I also recommend not to take the grade too harshly because for most it will be the first AP class you take and the teachers understand.
