    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I think everyone should take this course because it gives you a better understanding about the reality of our food industry, our energy sources, and the state of our planet.

    Course highlights:

We did a lot of hands on projects, such as counting species in tide pools and visiting a local organic farm. I also really enjoyed the films we watched, most of which were documentaries. We watched Blackfish, the Cove, Food Inc., and many others and they really changed my perspective.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise that you make sure to study thoroughly for the tests because they can be fairly challenging. I would also say be careful not to procrastinate because it can be easy to fall behind in that class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrasinate when it comes to doing notes!!
