    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it included all the fundamentals of biology, you learn so much about the body and how everything works as a whole. It is very intriguing and valuable information for continuing biology majors!

    Course highlights:

What I gained from this class was mostly what to expect, this is not a class you can sit and chit chat or be distracted in. You need to come focused and prepared to learn, retain information and then be able to present what you've learned. If you know it, you can draw it! Always, always, always, draw it out!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to anyone that takes this course study as much as you can! Make note cards, recite the information, find the key points and draw pictures! Refer to things that will help you remember the material. Also, get enough rest and stay healthy, that's always important!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Mekhail was a very understanding instructor and she did her best to provide us opportunities to effectively learn and understand the concepts she taught.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs that we participated in as we were able to choose our partners and share data. I learned how to more effectively use microscopes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be able to commit yourself to the course material and take time outside of the class to understand the information presented in class. Also give yourself a fair amount of time to do Mastering Biology. It will help.
