    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, because you really leave knowing the material. Personally I don't think I will forget what I learned in this class.

    Course highlights:

I've taken chemistry classes before, but in tis class we went more in depth. You really don't move on until you understand 100% of the material. Getting an A is easy, because you have sources to help you on the test. You get to use a notebook during tests.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend really studying your notes and practicing problems over and over. Most problem are similar so if you really understand the basics and rules of chemistry you can solve anything.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a hard class for me but the teacher really knows what she's doing. She is not an easy teacher, but she is knowledgeable and takes lots of office hour time to help whoever is willing to help themselves. I definitely recommend this one.

    Course highlights:

There was a lot to learn but my favorite was when we "blew up" a gummy bear!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the reading and take notes.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I did well in this class despite having an instructor whose teaching style was not very compatible with my learning style. I strongly advice that you pay attention and really understand and remember the given material as a lot of it is seen in the proceeding chm151.

    Course highlights:

I know some people who took high school chemistry instead of chm130. I took chm130 as duel enrollment and compared the pace and material covered to what I would have received in a traditional high school environment and liked how chm130 better prepared me for future chemistry courses.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you can find a chm class taught by Fiona go for it. I personally love her teaching style and personality. I strongly advice that you pay attention and really understand and remember the given material as a lot of it is seen in the proceeding chm151.
