    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me a lot about the human body, and how every system functions and works. It was very helpful in expanding my knowledge as I continue down the path of my career choice. I felt as though this course has prepared me for upcoming courses and I am happy that I have a secure basic knowledge base.

    Course highlights:

I specifically learned about all of the major body systems and all of their organs functions. I also learned basic microscope skills, and did many dissections. The highlights of this course were the group projects as well as the dissections and presentations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, and read instructions thoroughly. make sure to do all of the workbook pages and smaller assignments as the points will add up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very interesting! Especially if you are entering in a health related field. It really opened my eyes, as to how amazing our bodies really are.

    Course highlights:

A big part of the course was making muscles and applying them to miniature skeletons, which doesn't seem that great, However, having that visual of the insertion points, understanding extension and flexion was tremendously valuable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study the materials in class, work on the models and take your time to understand each piece.
