    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class because it truly does make you a better speaker. The professor cares and treats you like a family member. He makes communications a fun class and doesn’t make anything intimating at all. If you want to improve your public skills this class will help you achieve that.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights that I enjoyed and learned in this course is that there is more to public speaking than just going up in front of everyone to speak on a certain topic. I learned that public speaking is a very powerful tool to have. Because once you learn how to speak in front of others in such a way that you move the crowd, nothing can stop you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I have for this course is don’t procrastinate. I know it gets the best of us but it’s never a good idea to just wing a speech. You want to practice your material until you feel comfortable with it. Practice and patience is always key.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend COM225 because it really does open you up and make you feel comfortable enough to speak in front of a room full of people. It gives you the confidence to say " Of course I'm willing to present". Your also building courage to be a successful professional.

    Course highlights:

When taking this course I learned that there is nothing to be afraid of when your talking in front of a large crowd because when your talking in front of a large crowd your talking about what you feel you need to say. I learned how to stop getting anxiety and holding my breath when speaking because I had nothing to fear. Now when I present I don't get anxiety and I don't hold my breath I simply talk about what I chose to talk about.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to a future student is to have fun! Don't be that shy person who doesn't want to take the class because you don't like talking in public. All that I can really say is its up to you on what you gain and what you take from taking COM225. The class is only going to be as fun as you make it.
