    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If your major has anything to do with chemistry, it would be a good idea to take AP chemistry. In order to help with a chemistry placement test that you may have to take when going to college.

    Course highlights:

From taking this class I got a better understanding of chemical equations; how to balance them, how to write them and how to use them in order to do the math. There are a lot of other things that I learned, but its centered around chemical equations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

you have to understand the material and how to do the math; if you want to pass the class. And don't try to understand the material to late.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved AP chemistry with Mr. Rucker, however, AP Chemistry became a harder class when he was gone. I do not blame Mr. Davis, I know that he had to take on the class on a very short notice. We had a fun time and he did as best as he could with the little information and experience from our class. Either way, I learned a lot from Mr.Rucker, the class, and Mr. Davis.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights were working with the students that were just as motivated as me in terms of studying and fully learning the material. I had a lot of fun also working with my lab partners and applying the knowledge to something physical in an experiment.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that students find a group of four students max and form a study group for tests, exams, and just to check homework. There is a lot of material that may be too abstract to understand thus it helps to read with a group of friends and discuss the topic. Also, ‚Äčthis may improve your memory of the material if you have to teach others.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because you were able to learn a lot of the fundamentals and different theorems of chemistry. It was challenging but also rewarding once you understood the different concepts.

    Course highlights:

The many highlights were the labs that corresponded with the new principles that you learned. It really allowed the material to be understood since the labs had me apply and comprehend the fundamentals of what was going on in the reaction.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise many of the students to study hard, read thoroughly, and to ask as many questions as you can because learning is best when one asks questions.
