Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in chemistry because although it is honours chemistry Mr. Lockett makes it seem so much easier by simplifying every unit into basic steps. This helped me because when there was a big concept to learn I was able to understand better with this method of learning.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite things to learn during this course was scientific notation. I had experienced learning scientific notation before in science class in 8th grade and it seemed hard. But when Mr. Lockett taught our class his lessons were very slow so that way everyone could keep up. From there, we were able to learn advanced portions and understand those as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The only thing I would say is that the tests are very thorough and can go deep into what you learned which is why I recommend you study at least 3 days before to make sure you know fair amount of everything from a unit.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was really nice but the way she taught us wasn't good. She would not explain to us how to do the labs or how to do the work. At the end of the year 60 percent of the class had a 70 percent or below and she only gave 5 points extra credit on a lab. I would definitely recommend other students to choose a different teacher

    Course highlights:

We mostly went over converting things to moles or to grams in everything we learned this mole conversion was always involved.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention do your homework and if you don't understand go after school or during lunch to ask for help you will regret not asking.
