Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP US History enhanced my knowledge of my country so that I am able to analyze our past mistakes and recognize current patterns and do what I can to avoid History from repeating itself in negative ways.

    Course highlights:

My highlight was learning about the Jazz Age. As a music enthusiast, I soon realized that Jazz set the foundation for all modern music and I enjoyed studying how a culture both now and then can be so deeply centered around a genre of music.

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take notes in class, but more importantly study the topics at home so you have a firm understanding of the content by the time the study guide for exams is handed out.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Smith not only teaches you about the United States and it's History at a college level, but she also teaches you to love it. The way she teaches sounds less like a lecture, and more like a she is telling you a story. A great story about suffering, and rebellion, struggles and victories.

    Course highlights:

You go through the History of the United States really. I learned a lot, I will always remember learning about Robber Barons and Tycoons and the difference between Vertical and Horizontal Integration, because I can see it happening today and it's very cool to be able to make that connection.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Most of the homework is reading your textbook. Which can sound boring but can be very fun and exciting, and it's very important that you do read your textbook.
