This class was tough.
Doña is a real Hispanic teacher that grills grammar skills into your skin but every week remembers to have fun. I was intimidated of her when I first met her because she has such a strong powerful voice for such a small woman. Every Friday we would with learn a new dance or sing a Hispanic song. She gave the best fiestas and the whole end of the building could smell the days festivities.
My favorite memories of the class were the fiesta opportunities as well as how she incorporated the Spanish language into an every day habit. I learned a lot about Hispanic culture and my favorite holiday we learned about was the day of the dead because it's so different from any holiday we celebrate in America.

Advice for students:
Always come prepared to class everyday otherwise she won't allow you to sit in her room. Keep stupid questions to yourself and stay out of google translate. She's failed students for using google translate before and she's not afraid to do it again.
