Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a class that actually helps you grow, not only as a student, but as a writer and a public speaker. Mr. Ritenour has you do many speeches in front of the class, and some were only a minute long, which had to be extemporaneous, while others had to be about 7 minutes. It's not an easy A, and no one gets out of doing the speeches, and crying won't help either. He really is a great teacher and his class really prepares you for your future. I'm lucky to have been in this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned many rhetorical devices and understood them thoroughly, and i also really gained public speaking skills over anything. He calls on people often so you get used to it after a while and don't get as nervous, so I'm glad i benefited from that. I also found out that I'm capable of writing a 13 page essay that was good enough to receive an A, so that was cool too.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't slack off on the notebooks, it's not too tough to do the work. If it's difficult for you, get into a group with friends and do it together, because if you copy, he'll most likely catch you and find out. Start early on his assignments, and take any extra credit he offers, because his final can really bring you down.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot and Mrs. Lindo cared about her students and their learning even when she was going through a tough time.

    Course highlights:

We got to learn things that we were interested in. She would let us choose because she believed if we got a say in what we were going to be learning about then kids would actually show up to class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It is something you should take because you can lean a lot from it.
