    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although it is a tough and very in depth course, the benefit outweighs the disadvantage. Chemistry touches on every subject that you study: calculus, english, and even history. Chemistry is a fun subject to learn if you apply yourself. You have to be willing to do the work to obtain the benefit.

    Course highlights:

Quantum particles are inconceivable but so interesting to learn about because of how applicable they are to actual life and the fabric of the universe.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make study guides and always ask your teachers for help when you need it. Read the chapter summaries and pay attention to sub titles.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you want to really challenge yourself and practice independent learning before you get to the real deal in AP Physics as a senior. You do have to practice a lot on your own, but you do get a lot of help from Mr. Carufel, which is something that might not happen when you're in college. Use your resources wisely.

    Course highlights:

Personally, what I learned from this course is that it is okay to go ask for help. Do not be ashamed for asking a teacher to explain the lecture from class a bit more clearly. Do not worry about it being embarrassing that you need to ask for clarifications. "Oh, it's not cool to go ask for help! That means you didn't listen the first time! What a bad student!" This statement is false and inaccurate. I got so much help when I wasn't busy with after school activities and let me tell you, it's so, so good to hear the information again, right before you're about to go home and study for the test.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please, please, PLEASE! Do the worksheets and check your answers! They are amazingly useful and you can sometimes get credit for doing them.
