    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course will reveal to you the secrets and the beauty of chemistry and although they are quite complex concepts it is a fun challenge.

    Course highlights:

The highlights with this course is growing as a team with your classmates because there are alot of labs and we often tutor each other. Also, learning about the way elements bond together and their characteristics is valuable knowledge that you can apply to everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for the tests because they ask for very detailed information and often emphasize concepts; there is no memorization. Instead you have to flip back through your notes and study practice problems.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it will prepare you for college. Especially if you are taking chemistry you will know what to expect. Knowing the future is very important if you want to succeed in life.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is to prepare you for college. It goes into depth of regular chemistry. It will go from a very simple topic to a very difficult one. I learned that in chemistry there are more difficult parts in something simple. AP Chemistry shows you how hard college can be, but if you want to know what you will face in the future then you should take the class.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I give is that you need to focus in class. If you do not focus then you will have no idea and will not understand what is going on in the class. You will need to study a lot especially for a test and to never give up on the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I don't believe I have ever taken a course which I have learned so much from. This course made learning accessible and pertinent to me in a way that science courses rarely do.

    Course highlights:

Not only did I learn the basic concepts of chemistry from this course, I learned how to apply them. I learned how science is able to pertain to my life, even at times when it seems completely uncorrelated.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you aren't ready for a heavy course load, this isn't the class for you. The time commitment is certainly worth it, but you will spend far more time learning at home than in class. Be wary of this, it isn't for the meek of heart.
