Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of Mr. Gruber's ability to break down the concepts in a manner which makes the information easy to understand/retain. The manner in which we learned was efficient, and not overwhelming.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was being able to understand derivatives, and understand some real life applications of them. I learned how to find derivatives, and apply them within different mathematical concepts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice that I would give students considering this course is that focus is a requirement. If you don't pay attention you will get left behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I am currently taking AP Calculus during my senior year of high school. I would recommend taking this course in high school like I did to earn college credit. It also prepares you for more difficult math classes that you will be required to take in college.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the challenge. If you like math and you're up for a challenge, then this class is for you. It made me strive to work harder to get the grades I wanted in this class. I learned a lot about derivatives in math and I find derivatives very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students considering this course need to have a good work ethic. This is not a course that you can get through by procrastinating. The work load is tough but it isn't impossible.
