Course Overview:
The reason I'd recommend to take this class is because it is a challenge. Advancement Placement Calculus will revolve around rigorous work loads, yet in the end, it will be worth it. It will be a journey of personal growth and to succeed, you will need a strong work ethic along with determination.
Course highlights:
The highlights of this course had to be that you will encounter multiple valuable life lessons. For instance, I was able to learn that with focus and determination you can overcome any obstacle. In the beginning of this course, I was one of the worst students. However, midway I have been improving and that is due to nights of studying and putting in the hard work. Mathematically, I learned the many theorems, formulas and equations from algebra all the way to pre-calculus, which was difficult for me.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
To the students considering taking this course, I'd advise you to never give up. Although, it will be difficult in the beginning, you will eventually get through it and it will all begin to make sense. If math is not one of your strongest suits, I'd suggest to do your homework for other classes first and leave math to last so that you will be able to have the rest of the night to touch up on your math skills. Do not be afraid to ask for help, the teacher will always try to help you and give you a better understanding.

Course Overview:
This course is so hard but so satisfying! Mr. Zander is what makes the class worth my while. I am good at math but I really do not enjoy it, and Mr. Zander teaches in such a way that math becomes less of a dry rote memorization chore, and more of an intriguing and enjoyable challenge.
Course highlights:
My favorite facet of this course was how much my critical thinking skills improved. I can now look at any problem, even in a subject I'm very unfamiliar with, and I can think of potential ways to figure it out. They may all be wrong, of course, but the point is that my brain is capable of coming up with possibilities, instead of being blank.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Even if it isn't dur right away. Do it while the information is fresh in your mind, and solidify the knowledge while it is still malleable in your brain. Don't let it slip away.
