    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course as it effectively teaches you the fundamentals of using EXCEL. Excel is, and will always be, an important aspect of your internship/part time jobs. Through CAT, you learn the different concepts of excel, allowing one to be more efficient and productive in their day-to-day executions. This will allow you to effectively use the spreadsheet to generate, store, look up and analyse relevant data for you, instead of one having to arduously go through everything one by one.

    Course highlights:

Before CAT, i was a typical clueless student in Excel. Never being exposed to using excel back in secondary school or Junior College, i did not see the importance of using it, or rather the benefits i can achieve out of a simple system. Only when i entered university did the people around me start talking about how excel would be beneficial in helping one secure a good internship or job. As such, i took up the course on CAT and learnt multiple functions, graph analysis, macros as well as how to solve a real life business problem with the functions in excel.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you try to revise and pick up some simple excel skills before you enter the class! This ensures that you will be one step ahead of the rest, allowing you to catch up with what the professor is going through during lessons. Also, if you face any questions or difficulties, never hesitate to consult your professors and clarify the concepts.
