Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because writing is away to express inner emotions and thoughts that we cannot explain within words.

    Course highlights:

Getting to write essays what my favorite. I learn new styles of writing and got to express myself and my ideas in new ways.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be confident within your writing. If you're not then nothing will come out smoothly. Let all your thoughts flow onto the page.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course changed the way I read stories. He exposed us to amazing short stories and he explained little details that were hidden under well thought out words. We would read a story and it would mean nothing to us but then he would pull the story apart and then he would say, this symbolizes this and because of that this is the meaning of the story. Things like the irony of the name Fortunato in the story "The Cask of Amontillado".

    Course highlights:

My favorite part was when he told us to write a story about someone. It could be anyone a painter, hoarder etc. You had to write as if you were walking through their house and describe it. The description could not be obvious as to who you are writing about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a lot of hard work but it is fun to do so it doesn't feel like you are working hard.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course becuase although it was difficult, it prepared me for AP Language Junior year. The books that Mrs. Naughtin chose this year remain my favorite out of my whole highschool career.

    Course highlights:

I learned about archetypes, rhetorical devices, and how to analyze text in literature. Again, the books really sold this course. Their intrigue and suspense kept me interested in learning and the course itself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the books! Really, the homework load is not that bad. The real work is done in the classroom.
