Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Caluculus AB is a rigorous course, but easier than BC. AB takes longer time going through the book and understanding problems so the students do not feel rushed with their education. This course goes over basically two main topics throughout the year, ending with a lot of knowledge around those topics.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about derivatives and anti-derivitives. The first semester we focused on how to derive an equation and the meaning around why deriving matters. Then the second semester we were taught how to anti-derive which is just the exact opposite of what deriving is. If you can understand one of those topics the other comes easy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As a student, I do fairly well in math so i thought this class would be one of the easier ones. I was wrong. This course is not a blow off class, one will need to focus in class at all times and do all the homework in order to obtain all the information. Office hours were available so use them as much as possible.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Ms. Sherry did an outstanding job teaching and ensuring that all of her students are successful. Ms. Sherry is an incredible teacher who has encouraged me to continue to ask for support when I need it, but also to have the conversations that have shaped me up to becoming a successful student.

    Course highlights:

The course has helped evolve my thinking process and has encouraged me to attempt to find different ways to answer questions.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would encourage students to have enough time to study for this class due to the level of difficulty. Yet, this course was refreshing and will create a more complex level of thinking.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Math is not my best subject but I loved this class! Fulmer is a great teacher and explains everything so well! At the end of every class you have time to start your homework, that way you can also ask questions.

    Course highlights:

The best part of the course was doing homework at the end of class, because you could ask questions but you also normally could finish it all so you didn't have to do any work at home.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and ask questions if you need to! Also if you plan on taking the AP test at the end of the year, go to Calc Camp! It was so fun and really prepared you for the test.
