    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed taking this class since Ms. O'brien was a patient and overall very skilled teacher. I really would recommend this AP class to those who have a passion for English.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was getting to learn about rhetoric. We wrote many essays, which seemed tedious and challenging at the time, but ended up being very useful for scoring well on the AP test. I was able to dramatically improve my writing abilities by the end of the school year.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you must be diligent with your writing and be willing to put in a lot of effort. If you are not up for a challenge or lack motivation, this may not be the class for you.
