Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a fun and still informative class, learned all about the different elements was instructed well by this instructor.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would have to be the final project, which was combining some of the elements that was used throughout the lab portion, and create something that society could use everyday. We combined baking soda and salt along with other chemicals used in the lab. We created a homemade light stick.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the various topics repetitively, doing so will make sure you can build off of the previous subject throughout the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone that struggles with Chemistry and wants a professor that takes the time to think outside the box when it comes to teaching the material.

    Course highlights:

I gained so muh knowledge of chemistry that I had not learned from previously bad teachers. Professor Golden finds a way to make learning fun and makes you laugh every minute of the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay knowledgable of your course work and constantly check for assignments that are due.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hatley is a wonderful instructor who only wants the best for her students. She is always there to help you when needed. Take advantage of her office hours because she us always willing to help.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight of this course was the fact that we got to make aspirin. This is when I learned how vital is is to follow instructions closely. If one thing goes wrong, your aspirin will not be pure.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A piece of advice I would give someone who is going to take this course would be to study. I know that is a very cliche answer, but it is vital. There are a lot of formulas and laws that you need to be familiar with if you want to understand anything that is happening.
