    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. Even though it is a lot of work you are able to learn so much about American history. Due to this fact it is easier to have an intelligent conversation with your peers because you are very informed on how our government works. I was also very well-prepared for the AP exam so now I do not have to take the intro class for history in college.

    Course highlights:

I believe that this course to help prepare me for college. The amount of work and teacher instruction gave me a sneak peek of what college is like. I had to takeo notes on my own as well as prepare for the tests and quizzes days in advance. I am surprised how much information I was able to retain from this course and I feel more intelligent after taking it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read books and study all of the information pertaining to that chapter. Also watch videos summarizing each chapter because they summarize the important key points. Be prepared to struggle a little with the course load but make sure to not fall behind or else you will not do well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was extremely challenging and was the primary cause of many sleepless nights.

    Course highlights:

It taught me how to run on 2 hours of sleep during a full day of school, volunteering, sports, and work.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework, it helps on the tests (even though the tests have noting to do with the homework). And DO NOT fall behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I ould recommend it becaus eit is a very good and valuable coourse that provides an indepth look at American history and also helps students develop critical thinking skills and helps enhance debating and public speaking skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definetely the debates because they got so heated and so intense they really felt like real debates about important issues that America had faced at one time. Also, I learned a much better way to cope and better ways to public speak.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and do all the extra credit that you can no matter how little it is. Also, always go to the teacher if you need help she will help you no matter how much time it takes. Do the homework to the best of your abilities no matter how much time it takes.
