    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I find the material really interesting, but others may not be so interested. I still enjoyed learning about societies from the past, so take it if you are interested in the culture of other nations.

    Course highlights:

I learned about many different time periods and cultures, ranging from Mesopotamia to China's Zhou dynasty. It teaches you about the politics, culture and economy of those time periods.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend that you really follow through on all of your work and to take the notes from the book. Doing the notes part of the homework helped me to have a great memory for the tests and the AP test.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has a lot of hard work and is most students introduction to ap classes. This class can really show you how ap classes work and what is expected of a student who wants to challenge themselves.

    Course highlights:

This course really taught me a lot about basic history that everybody should know as an educated person. Its really important to know what happened in your countries past so you can avoid making the mistakes in your adulthood.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework and study! The lectures do help but its not the same as actually sitting down and reading the book. The homework itself is also a way to study, so dont blow it off.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed this course. While it was difficult, Ms. Hadi always thoroughly explained everything and always made her class interesting. I enjoyed when she when in depth on the historical background behind the topics she talked about. She loved to travel and she would often tell us about the places she had been too. She even took a group of students every year to a trip around the world over spring break.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the discussions and the group projects. We learned about the earliest recorded human history all the way to the modern era. Since it was an AP course we often went way more in depth than a regular course would.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them to not skimp on the reading because the tests are heavily based on the textbook. I would also tell them to take lots of notes because it will help you remember the information. Finally, I would tell them to study for the AP test because it will determine whether or not you get you get college credit.
