    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course I took. I didn't like my professor. She was a professional teacher. She went to school to teach and that is what she does. She didn't seem to have a lot of real world experience about the subject matter. I would have rather have a teacher that was passionate about the subject because they lived it.

    Course highlights:

I think I learned a lot about family systems and learned about dynamics in families I didn't even know exsisted.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Don't like the 3 weeks condensed course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I do recommend taking interpersonal communications over public speaking to suffice the communications portion of your degree (if you have to) or using this as an elective course. Mrs. Gronert is a tough grader, dot your i's and t's, read the rubic for each assignment carefully. Overall I did love the class though. It's strange it's not considered a PSY course.

    Course highlights:

The first thing I liked about this course was that we were assigned a semester long project with journal prompts each week. Some weeks it was how do you rank you and your partners stress levels? The good thing was that your partner needed to be a family member, best friend, or a significant other. This course did over lap with PSY 101 so a tad bit boring but if you take this course and PSY 101 in the same semester it will be easy to write papers and use the other class book on a paper!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it on campus, and if you need PSY 101 overlap this class and PSY 101 in the same semester as they cover a lot of the same material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Reyes was very informative on her course in Interpersonal Communications. In Chapter 1, we learned how important it is to learn about the self and how this effects our communications with people.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was on learning how to deal with and control your emotions. This is very critical in the workplace since our shown emotions show how we effectively communicate with supervisors and fellow co-workers. For example, if you get angry, then you will most likely say something that you will regret which can not be taken back. What comes out of your mouth could have severe consequences on your career.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just have an open mind and this course will benefit you immensely throughout your life.
