    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a tough class but you will learn a lot. I had o take it twice but I feel like I have a better understanding of why I didn't pass the first time. if you put forth an effort and work with the instructor when something is not understood, you will pass, Dr. Garg is professional and knows his science.

    Course highlights:

Hard work pays off. Practice and study helps the most with this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice practice practice! Go o office hours and SI sessions. Practice the homework problems more than once after turning the assignment. Review practice tests, quizzes and extra credit activities.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is awesome! He lays out the course in a neat and easy to progress format. The material is not too overwhelming and he is very willing to help. It is a great course!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the hands on learning experiences. You are dealing with a lot of structures and visual aids so if you are a hands on learner this course is great. I learned far too much to list but I left this course with a good understanding of general organic chemistry concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't freak out after the first day. The material will start to make sense and repetition of problems is key to success in this course.
