    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was very hard. It was hard to understand the professor too.

    Course highlights:

You learn about electrical systems and calculating systems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work in teams and do the homework in a group.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course was interesting and informative, however there were many points of information that we were expected to have covered in this course and didn't. For example, we spent a couple of weeks covering transistors and their circuits, but we didn't cover diodes or transformers.

    Course highlights:

In this course we learned about resistor, capacitors and inductors. We covered many configurations and the charge drain cycles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely read the book. This is a very important class in building engineering fundamentals.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is taught haphazardly. The concepts are interesting and may be important, but the class does not appear to be structured in a way to tech these concepts well. It is better to go online and learn the material on your own.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to apply Ohm's Law to many different circuits with many different components. I did not however learn much about these different components and how they can be used.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not rely on the professor to teach you the material. If you really want to learn something, find a course online or go talk to her in person, since that seems to be somewhat useful at times.
