Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is an excellent introduction into the workings of both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. When taking this class you can understand the how-to's of using Adobe Software to become a better graphic designer and learning more proficiently at the latest industry standard and expand your capabilities in using and manipulating images, text, and creating new designs. The class, while challenging, will not be difficult for those that are not familiar with the respective softwares as the class does a good job working you into understanding how to use both Photoshop and Illustrator bit by bit.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning how to use techniques that you learned from teh book and putting them into technical projects that walked you through hands on work. Then you would use the techniques that you practices and complete creative projects that would be your own creations. The course combines the structure of learning how to use the software and then allowing you to use that software to form your own ideas in graphic design.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't try to be a perfectionist. You want your work to look good but don't get caught up in trying to make your work look perfect as that will consume a lot of time that could be better spent improving it in other areas. Just try to follow design principles and do what you think works in a visually pleasing manner that best gets your message across through your design.
