Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Normally offered for transfer students, this course help you plan your next 2-3 years at the University and out of the University. It is similar to other community college career success classes, but it rises up to the tasks that are necessary for University growth.

    Course highlights:

I truly learned what it meant to have grit and the fact that I shouldn't just have only a few sources for interview material (All my interviewers for the class turned me down; I learned the hard way with that one).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have to take this class as a transfer student, I suggest to take the class in person. I had friends take the course online and not understand what the teacher really wanted out of her homework. Also, make sure to take notes. If it was remotely similar to the class I had that semester, taking notes of each class day is very beneficial in that class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this class! It is an online class, and although it is a 300 level course, it doesn't feel very advanced and you can easily pass with an A as long as you do the weekly assignments.

    Course highlights:

Through this class, I have learned many things, not only relating to my career field but about my personality as well and how to get rid of old habits that I wish to change in hopes of becoming successful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, one must do the weekly assignments which involve doing certain activities that allow you to learn more about your personality and techniques on how to pursue your career goals.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I had Ms. Toms and she was super helpful and even when she did not explain the assignments well, she had no problem going over it in detail. She has a good sense of humor and tries to keep the stress level to a minimum during the semester. I would surely recommend her. She's not an easy A, so you have to put in the effort. But its well worth it.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about myself overall by taking different assessments and quizzes and compiling all the information into a lengthy paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings, participate, smile and show up to class on time.
