    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a fundamental building block for all engineering students. Ruedemann is a flexible instructor and very laid back. Be sure to speak up when you need help, or you can quickly get left behind.

    Course highlights:

This class mainly focuses on limits and the basis of derivatives. There is a lot of work and a few big test. The mastery test is quite intimidating. Webwork is a horrible website, but I doubt they stop using it anytime soon. It doesn't really teach you anything, so I would recommend supplementing the class with Khan Academy.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and stay on top of your assignments! Make sure to be active on the Piazza boards and ask for help. Give help whenever you can too. Passing the class seemed like a collective effort.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Lytvak was the worst professor you could ever want. He won't teach you, he will just throw information on the wall, mumble about some things that might be connected, and then give you easy homework examples. He then will test you on the hardest examples of everything.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I need to pay more attention to rate my professor and their opinions on professors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course, it is an easy class. Just be sure to get a good professor and not Lytvak.
