    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course because I think it is packed with way too much information in such a short period of time. It becomes extremely difficult to learn any material whatsoever on such a little amount of time that you become extremely overwhelmed.

    Course highlights:

I am being completely honest when I say I probably did not learn a thing other than things I already knew about geography. This course is every rigorous and just isn't right for people who are taking other hard and reading/lecture heavy classes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to anyone who is taking this course is to set aside times. If you like reading a lot then you may like this course because he usually gives out 75+ pages a week. So my main advice is to set asides times in which you can complete all these readings.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course really helps you focus on how and where global resources are obtained, and what it means for those countries as far as economic impact is concerned.

    Course highlights:

Geography of Natural Resources is incredibly interesting in that it touches on everything from sources of renewable energy to where the mineral deposits are in the world. And just because a country has a large deposit of something does not necessarily mean that it has to take advantage of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My suggestion to anyone taking this course is to focus more on the study guides than memorizing individual bits of information from the text. In all likelihood you will only need fifteen or so bits of information for the quizzes, so trying to memorize the whole chapter is not advised.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Shaeffer is an excellent teacher. Took many of his classes

    Course highlights:

He often goes to the places he studies so he will include personal photos of the places you are studying.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings and take notes on all the lecture videos. They are important!
