    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Depending on the professor and the semester, many of the readings change. Some general information on the course is that you read many different kinds of literature and are expected to comprehend them and form opinions that you will discuss in class. It's mostly about your ability to discuss and form opinions around difficult readings.

    Course highlights:

All of the readings are very interesting, I learned about many philosophical ideas that can apply to things I'm learning in my own major. It really improves your essay-writing skills.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't just work on understanding and comprehending the readings. Make sure to develop a strong opinion and have textual evidence to back this opinion, don't be scared to argue with people. Write down one or two questions because those can give you participation points just as much as an intelligent opinion can.
