    Course Overview:

    The professor does an excellent job of explaining course concepts.

    Course highlights:

    This is a crime control policies class and it discusses the policies that have been put in place to control crime rates.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take the notes, but also pay attention to what the professor says. You will learn a lot from her.

    Course Overview:

    This class is nessisary to begin your education in criminology. This class is jam packed with learning about different police theories, crime control policies, and other basic criminolgy terms. You will get a taste for all different aspects of criminal jusice when you take this class.

    Course highlights:

    A big plus for this course was the feild assignment he had us all do. You pick between a court room sit in or ride along with a police officer. This was such great insight into what crime control actually looks like. I learned the reality of criminal justice, not just what you see on the Tv when I took this class.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    I would tell students who are considering this course to be ready for the work load and plan out assignments ahead of time. This class has alot of work. But it's worth it because of how rewarding this class expirience is.
