    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    If you don't have to take this course, don't. it is one of the hardest classes you can take an an undergrad. But if you do, take advantage of all the practice problems. practice, practice, practice.

    Course highlights:

    Dr. Pillai gives multiple sources to practice the concepts taught in class and offers multiple opportunities to receive extra credit. with this teacher, I actually feel fairly confident in my ability to do organic chemistry

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Practice problems, practice problems, stay on top of lectures, and do more practice problems.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Professor Garg is precise and clear when it comes to explaining concepts and mechanisms involved in Organic Chemistry. It is a very tough class, but he seems to explain it in a way that makes it seem easy and effortless.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the different reactions that is involved in the arrow pushing mechanisms involved in Organic chemistry synthesis.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Practice the mechanisms of the different reactions thoroughly and memorize the reagents and what they do

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Houtchens is a great professor, but make sure that you take CHM 233 with him, you will do much better if you don't switch professors in between semesters.

    Course highlights:

    His notes are awesome, he makes it so that you can easily follow along in the notes. He makes himself very accessible for help.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study hard, practice, practice, practice and practice. go to his office hours, ask questions.
