    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course has one way of learning and if the person does not learn this way, the course is nearly impossible.

    Course highlights:

I learned to better explain myself in regards to math.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All students should go to office hours at least twice a week. Talk to your professor as much as possible. If there is any doubt of understanding, ask questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you took calculus during your time in high school, good job. But honestly, if you take Ashbrook's calculus class, prepare to fail. He doesn't teach the same calculus you would expect in high school. If you ask him for help, all he does is ask you questions, though you don't get anything.

    Course highlights:

I haven't finished the course yet, and I'm barely passing. But tutoring has been the main highlight to help me get through this course. Don't go to Ashbrook or the TA's in that class, literally go to a tutoring center because they'll break it down for you.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you adviser doesn't believe you're ready for calculus, then listen to them because they're saving you the stress and heart ache of trying to take the class. Take as many notes as you can and always read the book. Get together study groups and learn the material. Also go to tutoring everyday.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Reynolds does not teach as much as reviews conc puts that you are expected to learn on your own time. Utilizing supplemental Instruction and office hours for the TA are a must in order to pass the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned the value of office hours and how helpful they can be.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!!! And also take thorough notes.
