    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is not too tough, but it does make you think. The structure of the course makes it a little easier. If you like writing this will be a great course for you!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from the discussions. I loved hearing the ideas of my classmates on each topic. This class also helped me advance in my writing skills, which I can use on a daily basis.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A few study tips I would give students is to take notes and listen to the advice given to you. Also be sure to effectively follow the directions of what is being asked. It is easy to write on a topic and stray away from what the professor is asking you to write about. And cite all work!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself was very interesting and somewhat informative as to how to write eloquently in a school and business setting.

    Course highlights:

The discussions of controversial debates were incredibly entertaining.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's simple enough, but be prepared because Professor Wolfe is a little bit of a bore and take his writing criticism with a grain of salt because he is rather condescending about writing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well it's Freshman year and you basically take what you have to take. English 105 was required. Not a bad class. I breezed through it pretty well since I had a good professor. A lot of refreshers to what I already knew but, I think it also prepared me for what I might need for the rest of my college classes. I think it toned my writing skills. The professor definitely makes a big difference.

    Course highlights:

This class really just solidified my English from high school. I think it clarified a lot of things while really toning up my writing skills. I'm sure that will come in handy for the next 3.5 years.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend showing up for class. It's amazing what you miss by not getting to hear the actual lectures and just trying to read from the books.
