    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Beginner C++ Programming course

    Course highlights:

I liked learning basic programming and computer logic.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are computer orientated - Millennial - you shouldnt have issues. If you are not, then spend extra time on this material and start early so you have time to get responses to your questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it teaches the basics of coding and is valuable with future engineering work. It is important to understand the basics behind computers.

    Course highlights:

I learned that this course definitely compounds on itself. If you are lost in the beginning, you will continue to be more lost so definitely build a solid foundation. I learned how to complete labs to achieve a particular purpose, an in always has an out.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely advise going into your lab classes that are optional. Talk to the TA and professor ahead of time because the labs are tough. Also keep track of any relevant questions you may have and ask them as soon as possible, even in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Every assignment isn't reinventing the wheel - plenty of source code online to use.

    Course highlights:

When you hit object oriented programming, you'll be using C++ more than most intro classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all assignments a week in advance so you can work out the bugs!
