    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class only if you have discipline to study daily and seek the professors help when questions arise. She does not allows computers or electronics so be prepared to jot down the number of the slide and if you need get more information off of them she will allow it at office hours. Most students complain about this as the lecture is fast paced and contains a lot of information but the tests are verbatim off the powerpoints with a little application necessary. Order the hard copy of the book and bring a highlighter since the pictures from the powerpoints are from the book. This will allow you to have the entire powerpoint to study from so nothing suprises you on the test. ASK questions when you have them. People find her intimidating since she expects upper level coursework and has essays on her test but what she's does them are not unreasonable in the least. (the twitter activities prepare you for them)

    Course highlights:

She does an amazing job of preparing you macronutrients and micronutrients if your a dietetics major

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Test is directly off the powerpoints but she does not provide them for download. Therefore, buy the boo and bring to every class and be ready to markdown which pictures appear in the powerpoints. Write down everything you can from the powerpoints. and star areas you missed. go to office hours and fill in the areas you missed.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This instructor was awful! The material itself is tough. It was hard to approach her with questions about the material without being made to feel incompetent. Her Twitter activities were also useless in helping you learn the material. She may love the subject but does not convey that to her students.

    Course highlights:

Honestly this course is not interesting. You really have to want to pursue a more scientific pathway to find the value in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Study! Study! Read the material and make note cards.
