Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I chose this course because my major required at least 6 credits from social-behavioral sciences courses. It's actually called Personal Growth and Human Relationships. It's super interesting and you do learn a lot about yourself. Things about yourself that you would've never thought to analyze before. I think everyone, and I mean everyone should take this course. Preferably with my professor because she's especially great at teaching.

    Course highlights:

At first, I wasn't exactly sure of what I was getting into. I soon discovered that this class is all about learning how to communicate, about empathy, about how to boost intimacy in relationships... I learned how I would act towards someone I have some kind of relationship based on my upbringing and why I act that way. It might not sound like much but I'm still starting with this course and I feel like I already know more things about myself that I wouldn't have known before this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise for students to pay attention in class, take notes, listen to the stories the professor has to tell, participate. To put themselves out there. It's okay to feel vulnerable, especially in this course because it's all about learning and no one is there to judge you. I encourage them to be proactive, meaning that they should make this class an experience and not just a few more credits on your major.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the book Thrive. It is beyond a good read. I would also recommend the extra credit opportunity it is an excellent experience for a charity, school, etc.

    Course highlights:

I learned that relationships require both parties to be on the same page and the characteristics that influence the course of a healthy relationship

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would spend more time digesting the material and make sure you understand theories before you take them exams and finals.
