    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Highly rated professor, course rigor, and ultimately the content that creates a core foundation in the Electrical Engineering program.

    Course highlights:

Signals and systems are all around us. Your home thermostat, the accelerator pedal in a car, or the power button on a remote controller.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Have a strong foundation in calculus, circuits, and critical analysis.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The actual course in itself is not bad, but the teacher made it more difficult than it should have been. She would be very unclear when answering in-class questions, and would repeat herself in the exact same way, and would do that too often. Grading was partial, however, and office hours were pretty helpful as well.

    Course highlights:

Although I do not like this area of study, it was required of my major, and since I wasn't as engaged in learning as I would be in a course that I like, the main topic I took away from this course were the basics of signals and systems,

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use office hours, take good notes, and do the homework.
