    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was incredible for learning drawing and different techniques. It was also so helpful in recognizing different aspects of art like line and mass. We were able to choose our own subjects and create projects around that subject. It was such an interesting and thought provoking class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were drawing my grandmothers hands. It was our final project and we were able to use colored pastels on black paper. My grandmother has been a huge influence on me and she always held me with her hands. When I took this to Cam to draw, he was so supportive and gave me lots of tips on drawing hands.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The projects are what take the longest. There are about seven projects that take 3-6 hours to complete so give yourself time to draw.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this because it does help students think. Think about why they do actually need scholarships and why it is important to have goals and certain personal dreams.

    Course highlights:

I learned that it is very important to know what you want to do, where you want to go. With me personally, I come from a small town and attending a university is very rare out here. Not many students go to college right after high school. So that is something that I do want to help change and motivate younger ones that anything is possible.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

to just go for it. Do whatever will make you happy. If going off to college away from home, in another state, the sky is the limit. And this course will only make it the beginning for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a very fun class that taught me a lot about the drawing process

    Course highlights:

How to use values and to shade sketches in the correct manner.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all of the online work if you are taking this as a hybrid class. The online work takes more time than the in person portion but it also is a significant part of your grade.
