    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I had a blast in this class. It consists of discussion boards for the most part, but we also had 2 major projects. The discussion boards were fun because we were allowed and encouraged to be opinionated. It's an easy class but you learn a lot at the same time! After each discussion board post is closed, Prof Edmonds sends out a mass email and responds to them HIMSELF! You're never left wondering about anything :)

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about just as the course is titled - gender and communication. There are many differences between genders and this class taught me a lot about how to communicate more efficiently between both genders. My favorite section discussed gender and com in the workplace and how to make sure you handle yourself well if you're in an opposite-sex dominated field. It also taught me a lot about just making the most of your work environment. I took this class for fun, but it genuinely is a class I won't forget because, no matter what your major is, IT IS RELEVANT!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just stay up to date on your discussion board posts. Each post is worth 25 points. YOU WILL NEED YOUR BOOK, but even if you miss one post, Dr E gives out 25pts extra credit throughout the semester to make up for it! FOR YOUR POWERPOINT PROJECTS ---- visuals are KEY!!
