    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very knowledgeable of the material and proficient in teaching it to the class. The professor was always available for extra tutoring if it was needed and gave good advice on remembering techniques for certain Spanish colloquialisms.

    Course highlights:

This course was mostly dedicated to conversation in Spanish and writing in Spanish. The first 20 minutes was used to write a paragraph or short story in Spanish and the remaining time was used to communicate in Spanish with the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For a foreign language course you definitely need lots of study time, most of it is repetition to learn the words but you still need time to read and write out your assignments. I would suggest spending at least 10 hours a week on your foreign language courses.

    Course Overview:

I recommend because the teacher keeps you extremely engage, and if you enjoy Spanish culture and learning the language, this class will push you to do both.

    Course highlights:

Learning and studying Spanish culture. Also, we did a lot more literature reading, and this helped me become more fluent and engaged in the language.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just stay focused and engaged. The class will help you grow tremendously, but you have to put in the extra work.
