    Professor Lafferty made the class interesting

    Course highlights:

    It prepared me for Calculus by setting the groundwork for more complicated concepts

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do the homework, practice problems regularly. That'll prepare you for the tests.

    This class was tough.

    It is a ton of studying close to 25 to 35 a week

    Course highlights:

    It keeps in organized, there is homework do daily.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Work ahead of the class so you are on top of what is coming next

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Joe Rody is the reason why I would recommend this course. He truly wants every student to succeed and will make time to ensure that the material is understood completely.

    Course highlights:

    I've gained an appreciation for math. I'm not a math superstar, but Joe Rody was able to help me understand the math concepts and I'm better for it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Definitely take advantage of Professor Rody's office hours. He's there to help no matter what. Also, give yourself plenty of time to really work on the material. This class is tough, but you can succeed.
