    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the professor teaches you a lot of life lessons and isn't politically correct. This is going to be one of the hardest classes you take because he is very particular with how he wants you to write the papers. If you don't take great notes in class, your grade will suffer. It was always exciting to hear his life stories and things you need to have in order to be well prepared for an interview or business writing in the real world.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of life lessons in this class. He taught us how to prepare for the working world. For example, he mentioned that grey is a great color for women to wear to an interview, since black is very harsh and better suited for a manager position. He also mentioned to not always say you are sorry and it is your fault because you will get sued. He was the craziest teacher I ever had, but he just wants to push his students to their full potential and make sure they are working as hard as they can. I was one of the very few to get an A in the class. Every week I had to have 1 hour of tutor time with him, in order to make my papers great. He really pushes you to work as hard as you can.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest to make sure you go to one tutor session once or twice before you turn if your final paper for each assignment. If you do not, it will be impossible to get an A in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She always gives good feedback which helps for the next upcoming assignment.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write up one-page profiles about different kinds of companies while also incorporating pictures into them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class everyday, attendance is mandatory.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would really recommend this class, especially if you are a business major! I loved this class and there was so much knowledge that I gained from it. The professed was awesome and was happy to answer questions.

    Course highlights:

I think that the highlights of this class were the assignments and the material that he brought to class. The assignments were design as if they were real world scenarios, and were able to gain experience from that. Also, he went over how to act on interviews and how your resume and application letters should look.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is staying on top of all the course work, and not falling behind. Also, do not wait until the last minute to start on an assignment, make sure you have enough time to proof read and edit, The professor is really big on grammar. Lastly, do not be afraid to ask questions.
