Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course deals mainly with the study of specific religions in the United States of America in several aspects for each religion and includes watching a movie for each religion.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are: Religion definition and Indigenous Religions, Protestantism, Judaism, Catholicism, Islam, and “Materialist” Traditions and Philosophies. I learned how to discuss many of the major religious movements in the global United States and other parts of North America from the 17th century to today. Also, I learned how to explore and analyze texts related to American religious traditions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise them to read carefully and understand what they are reading as this course has readings each week. I also advise them to watch the movies for each religion in this course and understand the main idea of the movie that related to the studied religion. Come to class for the lecture notes and having an idea about the essays that you will be writing. This will prepare you well for the tests.
