    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a really great course to take, especially considering this summer was my first official time working with children in a setting other than babysitting. It was very informative and went really well with my career choice as well. She posts all of the material ahead of time so that was a huge bonus being a full-time worker. There are many professors who do not care that you are working and going to school, you can tell she does when it came to the easy access of our material. She was also very organized and kept the class up to date on any changes made right away.

    Course highlights:

This course talked about many disorders that children can have as well as how it affects the over all family relationship as well. ASD, Conflict Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and so many more. I learned a great deal that I did not know before. The lectures are powerpoint based but she per-recorded her voice over the slides, which is really great to follow along with and gain more information.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It is going to be challenging to read and keep up with all the material but it IS possible. You really just have to keep focused and take notes during the power point slides. As well as when you are reading the articles assigned.
